The Problem

Space access is exclusive: Only 13 private citizens have visited the ISS (tickets $250K–$50M).

Belonging deficit: 61% feel less connected; WHO reported a 25% rise in anxiety/depression in one year.

STEAM gap: Only ~20% of students pursue STEM.

No cultural archive: Humanity lacks a billion-year backup for art, stories, and messages.

Space has rockets and factories. It lacks a human operating system — rituals, archives, and entry points that make it meaningful to everyone.

Starfield

The Opportunity — Mass Participation Is Now Viable

Launch costs ↓ ~20×: Space Shuttle ≈ $54.5k/kg → Falcon 9 ≈ $2.7k/kg. Cultural & educational missions at scale are now feasible.

Investors fund hardtech (Inversion, Axiom, Space Forge) to build infrastructure. Moonshot builds the adoption layer: culture, education, and belonging.
